This Privacy Policy explains how Cheela Technologies Co., Ltd ("ByteExo", "we") handles personal information through www.byteexo.com. ByteExo is located at Room 1506, Tower A, RZN Building, Bantian Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen, China.
1. Information we receive
When you submit an enquiry, we receive the information you enter, such as your name, company, business email, phone or WhatsApp number, country, requested product or model, capacity, quantity, requested timeline, warranty requirement, trade term, server platform, and message. If you select files, we also receive the attachments and their filename, type, and size. Please do not send payment-card details, passwords, government identifiers, or other sensitive information through the form.
2. Source, security, and optional measurement data
An enquiry also includes the source page address, site and language identifiers, and UTM source, medium, or campaign values present in that address. We process limited network and security logs to operate the service and prevent abuse. Optional website measurement is off by default. Only after you accept it may pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers be created and used to measure page views, referrer host, language and device context, time on page, scroll depth, form starts, form-submit attempts, and link interactions. Enquiry messages and attachment contents are not sent as measurement events.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to your request, prepare and discuss a quotation, manage an existing business relationship, protect the website and forms, comply with applicable obligations, establish or defend legal claims, and improve public website content. We do not sell personal information and do not use the website for advertising or social-media tracking.
4. Who may receive information
Access is limited to authorized ByteExo staff and service providers that support hosting, content delivery, database and private-file storage, email or business notifications, security, maintenance, and optional website measurement. They may use the information only to provide those services or comply with law.
5. Storage locations and international handling
Because ByteExo operates from China and uses infrastructure in Hong Kong and global network or storage services, information may be processed outside your country. We limit transfers to what is needed for the enquiry and website operation and use contractual, access-control, encryption, and other safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable law.
6. Retention
Unsubmitted temporary attachments are scheduled for removal after 24 hours. Submitted enquiries and their attachments are kept while needed to respond, manage the business relationship, meet legal or accounting obligations, or resolve a dispute, and are then deleted or anonymized. Raw optional measurement data is kept for no more than 90 days; aggregated reports may be kept for up to 24 months. Routine security logs are normally kept for no more than 90 days unless an incident requires longer preservation. Backup copies age out under the protected backup rotation after the source record is deleted.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies to you, you may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information. You may withdraw optional measurement consent at any time through the permanent cookie-choice control. We may verify your identity before acting on a request.
8. Security and automated decisions
We use access controls, private attachment storage, transport encryption, and activity records designed to protect information. No website enquiry is accepted or rejected solely by an automated decision that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
