This Cookie Policy explains the browser storage and website-measurement controls used by www.byteexo.com.

1. Essential choice storage

The website uses local browser storage to remember whether you accepted or declined optional analytics. This choice record does not contain your enquiry message or attachment contents.

2. Optional website measurement

Analytics is off by default. Before you select "Accept analytics", the non-home public pages do not create visitor or session identifiers and do not send measurement events. After acceptance, and only if the site's remote setting also enables measurement, pseudonymous visitor and session identifiers may be stored to measure page views, referrer host, page language and device context, engagement time, scroll depth, form starts, form-submit attempts, and link interactions. If the remote setting cannot be read, measurement stays off.

3. Forms and source details

Sending an enquiry does not require analytics. The form itself can send the fields you enter, any selected attachments, the source page address, site and language identifiers, and any UTM source, medium, or campaign values in that address. Current analytics visitor and session identifiers are included only when you have accepted analytics and those identifiers exist. See the Privacy Policy for the full field list.

4. Change or withdraw your choice

A permanent "Cookie choices / withdraw analytics" button is available at the bottom of every non-home public page. Use it to reopen the choices. Selecting "Only essential" stops optional measurement and removes this site's analytics visitor and session identifiers; the choice record remains so the site can respect your decision.

5. Recipients, locations, and retention

Optional measurement is handled by ByteExo's website and authorized hosting, database, security, and maintenance providers. Processing may occur in China, Hong Kong, and locations used by the infrastructure providers. Raw measurement events are kept for no more than 90 days, and aggregated reports for up to 24 months. The browser choice remains until you change it or clear this site's storage.

6. No advertising tracking

The current website does not use advertising or social-media tracking. If that changes, this policy and the consent choice must be updated before the new service is enabled.
